Thoughts on: Signal

I wouldn’t call Signal a ‘masterpiece’, there have been better dramas than it, or at least dramas I felt more connected to. It’s a well crafted crime show with a competent cast and director, and definitely one of the better kdramas I’ve watched over the past fiew years. It just didn’t have that eluseve factor which would have made me throughly enthralled, the way e.g. ‘Monks and Masters’ did. Yes, it tugged the ol’ heartstrings and made me save the last fiew episodes for a binge watch, to avoid the cliffhangers, but I didn’t feel the need to compulsively talk about it.

Drama Grab Bag

I’m glad Signal came along as otherwise my drama plate would be pretty empty of kdramas. It’s definitely the drama I’m looking forward to each week, though I don’t have any burning need to write about it. Well, there’s hardly a drama I feel the need to comment on these days. Which is a sad situation to be in indeed.

First Impressions… of bunch of dramas

Now that I’ve finally managed to get The Epic Re-watch done, I’ve had some time to spare for the new kids on the block. 🙂 There’s been a gaggle of new dramas starting this month and I’ve given some of them my best school try.
